This book offers a good overview of the construction of various obstacles, ramps, mini-ramps, and bowls. With a basic understanding of carpentry, you should have no problem building from the diagrams shown. Even if you do not have a basic understanding of carpentry, I would follow the advice and start with some of the smaller / simpler ramps. They will prepare you to work through the more complex problems that come along with more complex ramps. Be ready to encounter small headaches and detailing problems along the way and you should be able to complete your project with your sanity fully intact.
